
I had my daughter almost 7 months ago and I am still 20 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight. I lost a good 15 lbs after the baby, but then life took over, I struggle to find time to exercise (especially with two kids at my side 24/7) and the reality is, I am not of a slim frame. Never have been.
I’ve always been gordita or curvy, chubby whatever you want to call it. Even when I lose weight I’m gordita —and that’s ok! I am nearly 35 years old and I can happily say that I know how to dress for my body. I know how to accentuate the good stuff and how to cover up or “re-work” other areas. I have been a range of sizes from 6 – 18 and right now I’m a size 12/14 — I’m working on losing the pounds and in the meantime I strive to look my best.
