Foxtrot Market To Replace Le Pain Quotidien In Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Foxtrot Market, a corner market and café offering delivery service, will replace Le Pain Quotidien in Old Town Alexandria.

The store at the intersection of King and Washington Streets, 701 King Street is expected to open later this year. A spokesperson said a specific opening date has not yet been confirmed. Le Pain Quotidien closed its Old Town location but still operates various DC area locations.

Foxtrot has locations in Chicago and Dallas with recent expansion in the DC region. The brand has DC locations in Mount Vernon Triangle and Georgetown, and another location will open in Dupont Circle. The Old Town Alexandria location will be the first in Virginia.

Foxtrot Market aims to be a place where customers can grab coffee, pantry staples and wine, or sit down for a meal. The market offers grocery and pantry items, meals, alcoholic beverages, coffee, tea, pastries, cheese and charcuterie, and more. Foxtrot King & Washington will have an expanded grocery selection, charcuterie bar, house made craft sandwiches, and a full coffee bar with beans from local Vigilante Coffee. The location will have space for customers to relax, including mezzanine seating.
