Gadsby's Tavern Museum Hosting Beer Dinner with Yards Brewery March 4

Gadsby's Tavern Museum guests will enjoy beer ice cream during dessert at historic beer dinner courtesy of Del Ray's Dairy Godmother.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Savor the flavors of American history at the Historic Beer Dinner at Gadsby’s Tavern Museum, 134 N. Royal St., on Friday, March 4, at 7 p.m.

This culinary experience pairs history-inspired beers from Yards Brewery of Philadelphia with a four-course meal fit for any foodie or history buff.

This delectable dinner features the Ales of the Revolution from Yards’ Brewery, authentically crafted brews inspired by the 18th-century recipes of founding fathers Washington, Franklin and Jefferson. Guests will enjoy period-inspired food and back by popular demand, guests will enjoy beer ice cream during dessert courtesy of The Dairy Godmother.

In the late 18th and early 19th centuries, Gadsby’s Tavern was the center of social and political life in Alexandria and the new Federal City of Washington. The tavern served as the premier gathering place for residents – including George Washington – and visitors to eat, drink, learn, and influence history.
