Fairfax County Police are on the lookout for a suspect they say inappropriately touched a girl’s buttocks over the weekend at a Target store in Fairfax County. The store is located in the popular Mosaic District shopping center. An 11-year-old girl was in the store shopping with her father when a stranger touched her, police said.»»»Read more.

- A District man has been sentenced to 21 years in prison for taking photos of a teenage boy he sexually assaulted and posting them on Facebook. Franklin "Giovanni" Torres, 33, of D.C. was found guilty on March 11 for production of child pornography and other charges; authorities say he lived with the victim's family between January 2014 and April 2015 in Northwest.
$3 Million Construction Underway on New Alexandria Restaurant
- A $3 million construction project for a new restaurant is under way by Alexandria businessman Jeffrey L. Yates, who has begun demolition of the former Generous George's Positive Pizza Place at 3006 Duke St. The landmark 1940 pink building played host to Generous George's beginning in the 1970s for countless children's pizza parties over the years before it closed in 2009.
Hiring 3,600: MGM National Harbor Opens Jobs Office This Week
