Hillary Clinton Virginia Rally in Alexandria Friday

How to attend Clinton's grassroots organizing meeting with Gov. Terry McAuliffe.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will hold a campaign rally Friday in Alexandria’s Market Square at 301 King St.

Clinton will be rallying grassroots supporters with Gov. Terry McAuliffe, to continue building her organization outside of the four early states, and work for votes ahead of the March 1 Virginia primary.

McAuliffe is a family friend and longtime supporter who was co-chairman of Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign.

Members of the public can enter the rally space beginning at 11 a.m., according to organizers, with Clinton speaking at about 12:30 p.m. Members of the public interested in attending can RSVP HERE.

Traffic Alert: Roads Closed for Hillary Clinton Event Friday

Clinton has had a good week on the campaign trail, with a strong debate performance last week, and news Wednesday that Vice President Joe Biden would not run for the party’s nomination.

Clinton is in Washington on Thursday. She’ll be answering questions in front of the House’s Special Select Committee on Benghazi.
