Traffic Alert: Roads Closed for Hillary Clinton Event Friday
Closures begin at 7 a.m. Friday. Alexandria Police encouraging residents and commuters to plan ahead for alternate routes.
Hillary Clinton’s planned rally Friday in Alexandria is going to keep area motorists on their toes, with several streets closed in the area.
Alexandria Police will be closing several routes between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. See the list below.
The Clinton rally at Market Square is expected to begin at 11 a.m. She should be speaking at 12:30 p.m.

- 100 block of N. Fairfax
- 100 block of N. Royal Buses
The trolley will also take alternate routes, according to police.
