Icy Roads Thursday Morning Hampering DASH Routes
Here are some changes being made to the Thursday morning schedule due to icy roads in Alexandria.
ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Icy roads Thursday morning are hampering DASH buses in Alexandria, the company said in an alert.
Here are some changes to the schedule:
Due to hazardous road conditions, the following routes are temporarily detouring and may experience minor delays Thursday:

- AT1: Continues straight on Beauregard Street
- AT2: Unable to service stops on Armistead Street
- AT5: Unable to service stops on Holmes Run Parkway and Ripley Street. It continues straight on Van Dorn Street.
- AT7: Unable to service stops on Ripley Street. Buses will take Van Dorn Street to access Holmes Run Parkway.
DASH reminds its riders to use caution when walking to/from your bus stop.
On Thursday, DASH Bus and the King Street Trolley will operate on a regular weekday schedule.
Temperatures are expected to get above freezing by 11 a.m. to 12 noon Thursday.
