International Women's Day Celebration and Marketplace -- March 8

Please join us to shop at our International Women's Marketplace in the Auditorium from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

On Sunday, March 8, there will be over 1,000 International Women’s Day events honoring the achievements of women around the world. This year’s theme is Make it Happen. Pauline Muchina, Founder of African Women and Youth Initiative, an entrepreneur graduate of Empowered Women International, and a Christ Church parishioner, will be our preacher at the 10:00 a.m. service. Afterward, please join us to shop at our International Women’s Marketplace in the Auditorium from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We’ll have 15 entrepreneurs selling their art, products, and handmade crafts from Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Iraq, Kenya, Romania, and Tanzania and offering samples of food from different countries. Dianne Lorenz, Board Chair of Empowered Women International (EWI) will be our guest speaker at 12:00 noon.
