King Street Assault: Suspect Charged With Malicious Wounding (ICYMI)
A suspect was charged for a robbery and assault of a woman near the King Street Station in Alexandria. ICYMI
ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Alexandria Police have arrested a suspect in a robbery at King Street Station at King Street and Commonwealth Avenue.
Around 7:24 a.m., the suspect assaulted a woman and stole her purse, police say. Anthony Cooper, 29, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with robbery and malicious wounding.
Police did not report the victim being taken to a hospital.
