Lee Street Halloween To Prompt Road Closures In Alexandria
Trick-or-treat night brings the return of an Alexandria tradition: the Lee Street Halloween event.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Lee Street is the place to go for trick-or-treating, as locals in Old Town Alexandria know. The Lee Street Halloween event
As previously reported by Alexandria Times, the residents of S. Lee Street collaborate on this tradition to offer candy, decorations and costumes on trick-or-treat night. The event typically draws plenty of visitors, so Alexandria Police close down the road to allow more space for trick-or-treaters.
The 100 to 600 blocks of S. Lee Street between King and Gibbon Streets will be closed starting at 4:30 p.m. and reopen by 8 p.m. Police officers will direct traffic in the 600 to 800 blocks between Gibbon and Green Streets.
