Leeds, Armstrong Opening Restaurants at The Wharf in DC

Chef Jamie Leeds, owner of Hank's Oyster Bar and Cathal Armstrong, owner of Restaurant Eve, plan to open restaurants in DC.

Chef Jamie Leeds, owner of Hank’s Oyster Bar, which includes a location on King Street in Old Town Alexandria, is making plans to open her biggest restaurant yet.

First we learned in April that the popular chef has plans to open Hank’s Pasta Bar in Alexandria, opening later this fall.

Now comes word that Leeds will open Hank’s on the Water at The Wharf, the luxe mega-development going up in Southwest DC, according to the Young & Hungry column in Washington City Paper.

It’s where Alexandria uber-chef Cathal Armstrong is also planning to open a new restaurant.

Young & Hungry reports that Leeds’ new eatery will be her largest yet, with about 120 seats inside and 60 outside.
