Magnolia's on King Southern Restaurant Holding Interviews Next Week

A new restaurant opening in Old Town Alexandria, Magnolia’s on King, is hiring, according to a craigslist ad posted Sunday.

Positions include:

• Sommelier
• Lead Captain
• Hosts/Maitre Ds
• Assistant Servers
• Food Runner PT
• 1-2 Assistant Bartender

The target opening date for Magnolia’s on King is mid-June, the announcement states.

“This will be a tight team (family) in a pulled house that wants to succeed, win awards, build relationships and do something special.”

The ad also notes that the restaurant will open for dinner and brunch only initially and will be closed on Sunday evenings and Mondays, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
