Magnolia's on King Stirring Up Spooky Spirits

Get into the spirit of Halloween at Magnolia’s On King, located at 703 King St. in Old Town Alexandria, where guests are invited to celebrate the rich history of Old Town, known as one of the most haunted cities in America.

From Oct. 27 through Nov. 1, the restaurant will be pouring a spooky cocktail appropriately titled, Spirits of Alexandria’s Passed.

Created by Mixologist Zachary Faden, this seasonal libation is a twist on George Washington’s famed Cherry Bounce, a brandy-based drink popular in the 18th century.

Spirits of Alexandria’s Passed is made from a combination of house-made spiced sour cherry syrup, Calvados Bushnell Vieille Reserve VSOP, Old Overholt Rye, and garnished with a brûléed orange spiced with clove and is priced at $14.
