Update: Man In Custody After Barricade Situation in Fort Hunt
BREAKING: A man with a mental health problem is in police custody after being barricaded in a Fort Hunt house since Sunday night.

(Updated 2:50 p.m. Monday) FORT HUNT, VA — A man is in custody after barricading himself with two children inside a house near Culpeper Road and Londonderry Road in the Fort Hunt area, according to Fairfax County Police. Police said four and eight-year-old children were in the house and are now safe.
Authorities told WTOP no threats have been made. Officers have been outside the home since 8 p.m. Sunday after the man's friend called police, saying he was concerned for the man's well being.
After the children left the home, the man remained uncooperative with police. He began to enter and exit the house when an officer used a Taser. Police took the man into custody and called for rescue. The man was taken to a local hospital for evaluation and will receive required treatment. The incident resulted in no other injuries.
