Man Dies After Shooting Thursday Night in Alexandria
Incident took place on N. Fayette Street, police say. No suspects have been apprehended.
The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Thursday night in the 700 block of N. Fayette Street.
At approximately 11:32 p.m., officers responded to the area for a shooting, police said. The victim, 22-year-old Shakkan Elliot-Tibbs, of Woodbridge, was located by police suffering from a gunshot wound, according to Alexandria Police. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died. The investigation is ongoing.
