Found: Man Missing From Alexandria In Bitter Cold

(Update: The missing man has been found.)

ALEXANDRIA, VA—A search is on for a missing man in Alexandria as temperatures remain dangerously cold under a wind chill advisory.

Ali Raafaqat, a 68 year-old-man was last seen in the 900 block of Virginia Avenue in the North Ridge neighborhood. He is described as 6 foot, around 200 pounds, and wearing a long light colored tunic, a gray sweater or jacket and black and gray Puma sneakers.

The U.S. Park Police are searching the area with a helicopter to locate the missing man. Alexandria Police ask anyone who's seen Raafaqat to call 911 immediately.
