A Mistaken Detour: Franconia-Bound Train Heads Wrong Way
A Metro train to Franconia reportedly went instead in the direction of Vienna. Riders had to get off and catch another train.

Although full Blue Line service from DC to Virginia has been restored after track work, riders had one more problem to grapple with Tuesday morning. One report indicates a Blue Line train headed to Franconia-Springfield instead went on the Orange Line route to Vienna.
The Blue Line train ended up at Courthouse station, which normally runs on the Silver and Orange Lines, according to The Washington Post.
In a tweet Metro called it a "train malfunction."
