Native Voice: a G.C. Myers Solo Exhibition
Principle Gallery presents G.C. Myers' artwork at a reception on June 5th from 6:30-9pm.
Principle Gallery showcases ”Native Voice,” the solo exhibition of G.C. Myers, who has had 15 shows with the gallery previously. Myers’ vivid colors and imaginary landscapes are immediately identifiable as his own. Known best for his red tree paintings, Myers draws inspiration for his work from all realms of art history and culture. Entirely self-taught, Myers has established himself as a respected name among artists, having exhibited with the Arnot Art Museum, The Fenimore Museum and permanent collections including Corning Incorporated, Hollywood Records, and the American Embassy in Kathmandu, Nepal. G.C. Myers lives and works in his studio in the Finger Lakes region of New York. This exhibition is free and open to the public. “Native Voice” begins with a reception on June 5th from 6:30-9pm and the artwork will hang in the gallery until July 7th.
