Old Town Boutique District Announces Date for Popular Winter Warehouse Sale

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Ready to beat the winter blues with a little retail therapy? One of the longest running annual designer warehouse sales Monday announced the date for its popular once-a-year winter event.

The 11th Annual Alexandria Warehouse Sale is set for Saturday, Feb. 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Alexandria. Due to the growing popularity and loyal patrons of the sale, this years event has a new location and expanded footprint - including a variety of new boutiques and retailers not only located in Alexandria, but throughout the Metro region.

The fun, yet casual, once a year, shopping extravaganza featuring high-end boutique merchandise will be held at the Westin Alexandria located in the Carlyle District of Old Town Alexandria (see map below).

Founded in 2005, the annual clearance sale has attracted a large and loyal audience of shoppers from across the region – many making it a must do outing the first Saturday in February each year with girlfriends and/or family members. Over the past several years, the sale has averaged approximately 1,000 shoppers throughout the day.

Deal seekers will find the very best from Alexandria’s and the regions finest retailers and indie brands with various brands of clothing, shoes, jewelry, home furnishings and more up to 80 percent off retail prices. Experienced sale shoppers line up early in the morning hours to get first grabs at top label merchandise.
