Pedestrian, Bike Safety Meeting Scheduled for Tuesday

The public meeting will look at safety on King Street, Callahan Drive and Russell Road intersections.

The City’s Department of Transportation & Environmental Services (T&ES), Transportation Planning Division will hold a public information meeting on the King Street, Callahan Drive and Russell Road Intersection Safety project on Tuesday, June 23, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Durant Center, 1605 Cameron St.

The purpose of the meeting is to seek input on conceptual ideas regarding pedestrian and bicycle safety at this intersection. This project is part of a federal grant to improve Access to Transit in Alexandria.
