Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Alexandria: Report

ALEXANDRIA, VA — A man has died after being struck by a car in Alexandria early Sunday morning, according to a report.

NBC 4 reports that the man was crossing Richmond Highway (Route 1) at Belvoir Drive when a car struck him at 3 a.m.

The man, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead a few hours later, and the roads were closed briefly.
