Old Town Alexandria Car Accident: Pedestrian Hospitalized
BREAKING: A pedestrian was struck by a car in Old Town Alexandria and was taken to a hospital.
(Updated 11:54 p.m. Saturday) ALEXANDRIA, VA -- A pedestrian was struck by a car at the intersection of South Washington Street and Wilkes Street in Old Town Alexandria Saturday night, police say.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital, where injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening. The southbound lane of South Washington Street at Wolfe Street closed when police investigated the area. Police opened the road again before midnight.
