Old Town was all a buzz about Periwinkle’s big reveal of the newly remodeled store at Potomac Greens this weekend. The media got a sneak peek of the transformation Friday morning and consumers got a chance to sip and shop later that evening in the newly designed space. Here are a few of the before and after pictures which underscore just how much work the Periwinkle team put into this project. Changes to note: the new Venetian glass chandeliers, black cabinetry accented with periwinkle wallpaper, the floating cash wrap, old armoires replaced with black etageres, a new shoe/seating area, and nesting tables to showcase more merchandise.
The inspiration for the Potomac Greens store when it first opened was a Ralph Lauren look and feel, with brown wooden cabinets and fixtures. The remodel features the signature periwinkle color, but with a modern black and white twist,
Periwinkle strives to support local designers and Made in America products. Starting as a women’s only boutique, the store has expanded to offering men’s and children’s attire.
