Person Shot In Alexandria: Police
A person went to the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound Sunday night.
ALEXANDRIA, VA—A person was shot in the West End of Alexandria Sunday night, police say.
Alexandria Police say the incident happened at Edsall Road and Yoakum Parkway, according to an alert sent at 7:24 p.m. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Medical staff confirmed the injury was a gunshot wound.
The incident is being investigated as a felonious assault. Police have not announced any arrests and do not have additional information to share at this time.
