The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a commercial robbery Sunday in the 800 block S. Washington Street in Old Town Alexandria.

Police sent out an alert about the armed robbery at 1:28 p.m. Sunday.
Three masked suspects brandished weapons and stole inventory, according to police. There were no injuries. Expect police activity in the area.

Two were charged last summer with the armed robbery of the Verizon Store located in the area at 803 S. Washington St.
