Seaport Day 2015!

Alexandria Seaport Foundation's Annual Seaport Day! Rubber Duck Race, Food and Drink, Free Music and Kids' Activities, Boat Exhibits

Come celebrate Alexandria’s Maritime Heritage at Seaport Day 2015, Noon-6 PM, Saturday, September 26th, at Waterfront Park (Prince St at the Waterfront)!

Seaport Day features:

  • model boat building
  • traditional boat building exhibits and hands-on activities for kids of all ages
  • “Anything that Floats” Boat Race
  • music by Curtis Blues, Griff’s Room Band, and Tommy and the Bahamas
  • food, wine & beer for purchase from Carluccio’s, Blackwall Hitch, Planet Wine & Port City
  • our annual Chowder Cook-Off, featuring chowders from Overwood, Chadwick’s, Blackwall Hitch, Union Street Pub, Fish Market, and Chart House--you sample and vote for your favorite!
  • Rubber Duck Race for great prizes (purchase your ducks here: https://www.squadup.com/events/3rd-annual-seaport-day-rubber-duck-race)

Entry to Seaport Day is free! All proceeds from food and donations support ASF’s work with at-risk youth in Alexandria.
