Sharp-Dressed Bank Robbery Suspect Strikes Again -- This Time in Alexandria
Suspect has robbed three banks in the past month: In Arlington, DC and now Old Town Alexandria.
A sharp-dressed bank robbery suspect who favors suits, scarves and today in Alexandria — a black peacoat — has struck again.
The Alexandria Police Department is investigating the robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank located at 330 N. Washington St. in Alexandria.
Police say that at around 4:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 10), a man entered the bank and passed a teller a note demanding money. The teller complied and the suspect fled on foot. No one in the bank was injured.

The FBI says the suspect is linked to two other recent bank robberies, according to Alexandria Police:
- Monday, Nov. 10, 4 p.m., Presidential Bank in Ballston
- Thursday, Dec. 4, 3:56 p.m., Premier Bank in D.C.
The suspect is described as a black male with a light complexion, between 20 and 30 years old, approximately 6” with an average build. He was last seen wearing a black “peacoat” style jacket and a navy knit hat with a pattern on it.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest and conviction of this bank robber.
