Old Town Alexandria

Alexandria resident Juliette Kopp submitted this stunning image of Old Town in the snow. "I've lived in Old town for the past seven years and every day I find something new to love about these cobbled stone streets and colorful row homes. This beautiful city is even more magical when blanketed in heavy snow."

Riverbend Regional Park, Great Falls

Vienna resident Rachel Sitta took this photo during the annual Riverbend Bluebell Festival. "The Park has something for everyone-Eagles nesting, Bluebell walk, beautiful vistas, well kept trails, and the list goes on!"
Caledon State Park, King George

Woodbridge resident Lindsay Krueger visited this riverfront park for the first time in April. "It was an easy hike to the beach we loved the scenery and animals we saw along the way. Once at the beach, we were able to enjoy the water by ourselves, even seeing bald eagles! My 4 year old had a blast and we can't wait to to back again."

Navy-Merchant Marine Memorial at Lady Bird Johnson Park, Arlington
This image was taken near the Navy-Merchant Marine Memorial honoring sailors who died at sea during World War I. The park along the Potomac River is a lovely place to walk especially when the flowers are blooming. There's hardly a better place to see the DC monuments from Virginia.
