Alexandria Man Fatally Stabbed In Huntington, Suspect At Large
The stabbing occurred early Saturday morning in the 2200 block of Farrington Avenue.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — Fairfax County police are searching for a person they say fatally stabbed an Alexandria man early Saturday morning.
According to police, officers responded to the 2200 block of Farrington Avenue in Huntington around 12:15 a.m. after receiving a call about a stabbing.
When officers arrived, they found 19-year-old Auner Chavez Diaz between two apartment buildings, suffering from multiple stab wounds to the upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said his assailant left the scene before officers arrived. The suspect is described as a Black male who is approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and was wearing all black clothing and a face mask.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about the incident to call the Major Crimes Bureau through Crime Solvers at 866-411-TIPS or submit a tip online. Tipsters can remain anonymous and are eligible for a cash reward.
