Things To Do In Alexandria On A Cold Weekend
If you don't mind braving the cold, bundle up and head out to these Alexandria events this weekend.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—After the bomb cyclone brought snow, gusty winds and bitter cold to the area, it may be tempting to warm up by the fire and watch a movie. But if you're feeling a little stir crazy stuck at home, there are events going on to get you out of the house this weekend.
Whether you don't mind braving the cold or prefer an indoor event, here's a selection of events happening in and around Alexandria.

Hosted by Del Ray's Rock of Ages Music store, ROAMfest is a two-day music festival featuring 21 bands at The Birchmere. There will be performances for all kinds of musical tastes, from 80's and rock, country, to classic and more. Buy tickets at Rock of Ages Music (114 E. This exhibit explores the human journey by evoking all five senses. Meet the curators and artists at an opening reception on Friday, Jan. 5 from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. or visit the exhibit through Jan. 28.
