Traffic Advisory: Multiple Road Closures Saturday in Old Town

Due to the “Scottish Christmas Walk Parade” on Saturday, Dec. 5, there will be multiple road closures in Old Town. DASH will implement the below route detours from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The route detours will affect the King Street Trolley, and the DASH AT2, AT3/4 Loop and AT5 routes. Please anticipate minor delays on these routes due to the special event.

Route Detours:

AT3/4 Loop Southbound to Old Town

• Left onto Pendleton Street
• Right onto Washington Street
• Layover at the Lyceam (Washington & Prince Streets)

AT3/4 Loop Northbound to Park Fairfax

• Right onto Duke Street
• Right onto Columbus Street
• Right onto Prince Street
• Left onto Washington Street – Back on route

AT2 & AT5 Eastbound to King Street

• Left onto Washington Street
• Right onto Pendleton Street
• Left onto Fairfax Street – Back on route

AT2 & AT5 Westbound to Fairfax Street

• Right onto Pendleton Street
• Left onto Washington Street
• Right onto King Street – Back on route

King Street Trolley Eastbound to the Waterfront

• Right onto Washington Street
• Layover at the Lyceam (Washington & Prince Streets)Left onto Union Street

King Street Trolley Westbound to the King Street Metrorail Station

• Right onto Duke Street
• Right onto Columbus Street
• Left onto King Street – Back on route
