Truck Hits Power Pole In Old Town Alexandria
A portion of Duke Street is closed in Old Town due to a power pole and lines in the road.
Alexandria Police day a truck hit a power pole and lines Thursday morning in Old Town.
Port City Wire reports that the power lines and pole fell on the road when the crash happened around 10:30 a.m. Dominion Energy will be clearing the lines and repairing the power pole.
The 400 block of Duke Street is closed. Drivers should seek alternate routes.
