Upcoming Program on Holiday Container Gardening
Learn to Use Container Gardens to Decorate for the Holidays
The Alexandria Beautification Commission is sponsoring a program on Holiday Container Gardening as part of its continuing series of educational programs that focus on how residents can beautify their homes and neighborhoods using sustainable landscaping practices.
Cynthia Brown of the Smithsonian Gardens will be presenting on how to use container gardens to decorate for the holidays.
The program will take place Thursday November 19, 7:00-8:30 pm at the Mount Vernon Recreation Center in Del Ray at 2701 Commonwealth Avenue, Alexandria, VA.
