Aggravated Assault

  • Alexandria Police report there was an aggravated assault in the 400 block of Clifford Avenue Tuesday morning. The incident took place Tuesday morning at about 10:25 a.m. Police did not elaborate on the circumstances.

Car Stolen

  • On Tuesday, at about 3:55 p.m., a vehicle was stolen from the 1200 block of Powhatan Street.

Drugs/Narcotics Violation

  • Someone was arrested for marijuana possession Tuesday morning at 2:52 a.m. at N. Beauregard and N. Morgan streets.
  • Someone was charged with possession of marijuana Monday night at 10:36 p.m. at Jefferson Davis Highway and Swann Avenue.

Fraud

  • On Monday afternoon, in the 3600 block of Wheeler Avenue, someone reported that an unknown suspect used personal credit card information to make fraudulent purchases.

Theft

  • An employee working Monday afternoon in the 2000 block of Jamieson Street reported someone stole her work laptop and her wallet and contents from the security room while she was on break.
  • A neighbor reported an unknown suspect stole a delivered package from victims front door Sunday afternoon in the 5300 block of N. Thayer Avenue.

Theft from Vehicle

  • A resident reported that items were stolen Tuesday morning around 9:33 a.m. from a car in the 1400 block of Key Drive.

Vandalism

  • On Monday afternoon, a resident in the 800 block of N. Patrick Street reported someone threw a basketball through a window of a home.
  • Someone reported that the right rear tire on his vehicle parked in the apartment lot at 2200 block of N. Beauregard Street was slashed. The crime was reported Monday afternoon at 12:44 p.m.
