Warby Parker To Open Store In Alexandria
The eyeglasses brand has announced a weekend opening in Old Town Alexandria.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—Eyeglasses brand Warby Parker will be opening its Old Town Alexandria store in Saturday, Oct. 6. It's the brand's second location in Virginia, with the other being in Tysons Corner.
The store will have a selection of eyewear and sunglasses. An exclusive sunglasses offering at the Old Town location is the Topper 16 in Jet Black w/ Flash Mirrored Iridescent Lenses. All Warby Parker stores are offering kids' frames in two sizes: Jr. (for ages 8 and up) and Jr. Jr. (for kids ages 4–7).
Another service is Prescription Check, an app with a series of test check how patients are seeing through their glasses and recommends an optometrist when necessary. If the prescription is unchanged, the app issues a renewed prescription. If it determines the prescription has changed, the app directs customers to an optometrist for an eye exam and a new prescription The Alexandria Warby Parker doesn't have on optometrist in-store. Customers can use the app at home or with the assistance of store advisors.

Advisors are on hand to help customers select frames. The store also features a custom mural depicting reading and optical illusion from DC artist Matt Chase.
Started in 2010, Warby Parker has grown to over 75 stores in the U.S. and Canada with over 1,600 employees. The new store is located at 805 King Street, Alexandria. Hours are 11 a.m.-7 p.m. daily.
