All Parks:
- Aeration and fertilization will continue throughout the week, all parks should be complete by September 30.

All Pro Transition Tall Fescue
- Flower Beds:
Standard flower bed, tree care, and mulching operations are being developed and are planned to be ready to implement by October. This will include the procedure for trimming bushes/trees, maintaining planting areas, and mulching around trees. Contact me if you are interested in volunteering to assist in the development or implementation of these procedures.
- September 27 through October 4 the quarterly park audit will be completed. If there are issues or improvements you would like to record on the park audit email me, include the location and pictures if possible.
Founder’s Park:

- Work on erosion problem on the South end of the shoreline is planned for this week.
- Experimental application of natural products (primarily salt) to remove weeds in the volleyball court is schedule to be completed before mid-October.
King Street Park:
- The new entry bed is planned for replanting. August was unseasonably dry and all the initial plantings died during the month. With the addition of a part time staff we are replanting this area with a plan to keep it maintained and watered throughout the fall.
- There will be work on the tide gate beneath the manhole cover in the park. The work will have very little impact on the park and park access. Contact me if you would like more information on this project.
Montgomery Park:
- Playground mulch refill scheduled to be completed by September 27.
- Experimental application of natural products (primarily salt) to remove weeds in the playground and dog park area is schedule to be completed before mid-October.
Rivergate Park:
- New picnic table installation is scheduled for installation into the park this week.
- Replacement of electric meter shed, work for this is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, September 25.
Windmill Hill Park:
- Removal of weeds in stream bed near dog park is planned for October.
- Experimental application of natural products (primarily salt) to remove weeds in the playground and volleyball court is schedule to be completed before mid-October.
