King Street Park:
- The new entry bed will remain clear and weed free through the winter. Plans will be made for planting in spring.
- There will be work on the tide gate beneath the manhole cover in the park. The work will have very little impact on the park and park access. Contact me if you would like more information on this project.
Oronoco Bay Park
- The viewing pier at the southern end of the park is being worked on this week to address safety issues. The plan is to repair the pier in small sections to allow it to be open throughout the process. This work is scheduled to be complete by the end of next week.

We have placed seed and the goal is to get germination before the weather is too cold. Most likely this will be attempted from the hydrant at the corner of Gibbon and S. Union St. This work is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday.
- Removal of weeds in stream bed near dog park is planned for October.
- Tilling the volleyball court to loosen the sand is scheduled to be complete before the end of next week.
