  • Capital One Bank is hosting a volunteer day on October 23 and will be working on trails and helping with other maintenance in the park.
  • The center area of the dog park is being monitored, this area is struggling and may require temporary signs and ropes preventing access while it recovers. This would only prevent usage of the center of the dog park, about 20 sq ft.

King Street Park:

  • There will be work on the tide gate beneath the manhole cover in the park. The work will have very little impact on the park and park access. Contact me if you would like more information on this project.

Oronoco Bay Park

  • The viewing pier at the southern end of the park is being worked on this week to address safety issues. The plan is to repair the pier in small sections to allow it to be open throughout the process. This work is scheduled to be complete by the end of this week.

Rivergate Park:

  • Tilling the volleyball court to loosen the sand is scheduled to be complete before the end of next week. (delayed due to recent rain)

Windmill Hill Park:

  • Tilling the volleyball court to loosen the sand is scheduled to be complete before the end of next week. (delayed due to recent rain)
