Reader: What shoes do you recommend wearing in the summer on the cobblestone streets, especially when attending an event that is a little more formal than espadrilles and stilettos simply won't do? (I have crutches from last summer to prove it!)
Lyndsay, The Shoe Hive: I would recommend a modern wooden stacked heel or a chunky heel. Any of the shoes on Alexandria Stylebook today should do the trick.
