While the Wildcats didn’t advance as a team, two juniors gained valuable experience on your local course, and their coach says a strong core of returning players has him optimistic for 2027.
   

• Valley Link revises Route 2; Fluvanna path apparently unchanged (fluvannareview.com) — Fluvanna County leaders are pushing back on Dominion’s massive Valley Link transmission project, tightening zoning and planning rules to keep new substations and related facilities under local review. While the proposed 765-kilovolt line’s Route 2 is shifting in neighboring counties, maps show its path through Fluvanna unchanged so far, and county officials plan to formally challenge the project before state regulators.
