1st DC-Area Exhibit Of Dominic Chambers' Work Coming To Reston Gallery
Reston's Tephra Institute of Contemporary Art is hosting the DC-area's first exhibition featuring the work of painter Dominic Chambers.

RESTON, VA — Figurative painter Dominic Chambers will be the focus of the Tephra Institute of Contemporary Art's upcoming exhibition, "What Makes the Earth Shake."
Chambers, who lives and works in New Haven, Connecticut, is known for creating vibrant paintings that use art historical models to address contemporary concerns around race, identity, and the need for leisure.
"What Makes the Earth Shake," which takes its name from James Baldwin's 1962 "Letter to My Nephew," will be the artist's first exhibition in the Washington, D.C. area.
