• Makers Point offices in Reston eyed for residential redevelopment (ffxnow.com) — A major office complex on Sunrise Valley Drive in south Reston could be transformed into 234 to 557 new homes, including townhouses and a possible seven-story multifamily building with required affordable units. The Makers Point proposal adds new streets, wide shared-use paths, and sizable park spaces with playgrounds, fitness areas, and a dog park, reshaping the Wiehle-Reston East area over multiple phases.
• Virginia hotel business finally rebounds from pandemic problems (pilotonline.com) — Hotels in the Reston area are finally seeing midweek business and government travelers return, helping Northern Virginia's hospitality industry rebound from the pandemic slump.
