Asphalt Work Sparks Fire Wednesday Morning In Reston Parking Garage
Fairfax County fire units responded to the report of a vehicle fire Wednesday morning in a Reston parking garage.

RESTON, VA — Fairfax County Fire & Rescue units responded for the report of a vehicle fire in the upper floor of a parking garage in the 12300 block of Sunrise Valley Drive in Reston, according to an 8:29 a.m. post on the department's official Twitter account.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered that asphalt work taking place at the scene had caught fire, according to the Tweet. The blaze was extinguished and fire units returned to service.
Although Fairfax County Fire & Rescue received multiple reports of a vehicle being on fire, William Delaney, a department public information officer, told Patch that no vehicles were involved in the fire. No injuries were reported.
