Cavaliers' NCAA Loss Means Free Pizza For Everyone In Virginia
The bracket-busting Virginia loss in the NCAA basketball tournament means everyone gets a free lunch combo at Little Caesars.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA — There is a small consolation prize after the Retrievers from the University of Maryland in Baltimore County made history — and busted brackets nationwide — Friday night by taking out the No. 1 seed in the NCAA men's basketball tournament, the University of Virginia. UMBC became the first No. 16 seed to upset the No. 1 overall seed in the tourney.
Thanks to that historic upset of the Cavaliers, everyone across the country can now get a free lunch at Little Caesars on April 2. This is not a joke.
The pizza chain said its "If Crazy Happens" promotion would happen if a No. 16 seed knocked out a No. 1 seed in the tournament either on March 15 or March 16. So now, anyone who goes to a participating restaurant between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. local time on Monday, April 2, and mentions the offer will get a free lunch combo. The lunch combo consists of a four-slice, deep-dish pepperoni pizza and a Pepsi product of your choice.
