Teen Charged In Murder Of Reston Couple: Police
Police have charged a teen with the murder, who tried to kill himself after killing the couple, police said.

RESTON, VA — Police have announced charges against a Lorton teenager currently in critical condition at the hospital after a triple shooting in Reston that left two people dead.
Police announced Saturday that they have obtained petitions charging the teen, whose name was not released, with the murders of 48-year-old Scott Fricker and his wife, 43-year-old Buckley Kuhn-Fricker. Police say the suspect turned the gun on himself, and he remains in the hospital in life-threatening condition under police guard. The shooting happened at a home in the 2600 block of Black Fir Court at around 5 a.m. on Friday.
"The preliminary investigation determined the suspect, who knows the residents of the home, got inside and was then confronted by the couple," police said in a statement. "The suspect shot them both and then himself. Four other family members who were home at the time of the shooting were not hurt."

NBC Washington reports that there was a tremendous source of tension within the family, quoting one relative who said that the 16-year-old daughter of the slain couple was dating a 17-year-old Nazi supporter. Police have not identified any motive, so it has not been confirmed that the boyfriend is the same person as the suspect.
NBC Washington interviewed Janet Kuhn, Buckley Kuhn-Fricker's mother, who said they were concerned about what they had learned about the boyfriend.

"My daughter and her husband found out about a lot of the Nazi stuff just this past week, and they forbid their daughter to see him again," Kuhn said according to the report.
Kuhn-Fricker posted the following quote on her Facebook hours before the shooting, Kuhn said: "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
