The funding will bolster Cornerstones' Reston-based food pantry and Fresh Match program, helping Fairfax County families stretch benefits and improve access to healthy food. The award is part of more than $2 million Maximus is distributing nationwide.
   

2. 200 Bechtel jobs in Reston affected by TerraPower split (virginiabusiness.com) — About 200 Bechtel positions in Reston are flagged for possible cuts after the company ended its partnership with nuclear firm TerraPower, though Bechtel now expects few actual layoffs. The Reston-based engineering giant has issued required WARN notices but says it plans to redeploy many affected employees to other nuclear and infrastructure projects worldwide as Natrium work winds down.
   

3. 4. MacDill-based CENTCOM gets $1.5 billion technology contract (tbbwmag.com) — Reston-based CACI International has landed a technology and intelligence contract worth up to $1.5 billion to support U.S. Central Command operations from Tampa across the Middle East and Central Asia. While the company hasn't said whether this will add jobs in Reston, the award underscores the region's role in national security tech and could influence future local hiring and investment.
