Pedestrian Taken To Hospital With Serious Injuries Following Crash In Reston
A pedestrian was transported to a local hospital to be treated for serious injuries following a crash Thursday afternoon in Reston.

RESTON, VA — A pedestrian remains in the hospital with serious injuries after being involved in a crash in the Reston area early Thursday afternoon, according to a post on the Fairfax County Police Department's Twitter account.
Officers were on the scene of a pedestrian-involved crash around 1 p.m. at Baron Cameron Avenue and North Village Road in Reston. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police. The driver involved in the crash remained on the scene.
Eastbound Baron Cameron Avenue and North Village Drive were closed for a period of time, with Baron Cameron Avenue being reopened around 2:30 p.m. Crash investigators remained on the scened.
