Teen Actors to Perform Trio of Plays, Including Shakespeare Work, at Madeira School
The performances are part of nationally recognized summer camps run by Reston-based Traveling Players Ensembles.

Performers at Traveling Players Ensemble’s summer camps, offered to middle and high school students, will present a trio of classic plays at the Madeira School on Friday, Aug. 7, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
Campers will perform William Shakespeare’s All’s Well that Ends Well as well as two original plays by playwright Judy White titled Atum’s Eye and Ariadne’s Thread. The two mythology ensembles will perform White’s plays beginning at 4:30 p.m., and after a picnic dinner from 6-7 p.m. the Traveling Troupe will perform Shakespeare’s play.
The company is headquartered at Lake Fairfax Park in Reston, and the National Endowment for the Arts recognized it as one of 25 of the nation’s best “Summer School in the Arts.”

Much of Traveling Players Ensemble’s camps take place outdoors, providing a unique setting in which to develop as actors. Campers even camp outside overnight one night a week throughout the program.
Tickets will cost $10 apiece at the door. Those planning to attend are permitted to bring picnic items, lawn chairs, insect spray and flash lights. Camping chairs will be available for rent on site.
