Experts recommend better insurance, steering wheel locks, tracking devices, and parking near cameras to reduce your risk.

3. Richmond region visitor spending hits a record $4.1 billion in 2025 (rvahub.com) — Visitor spending in the Richmond region hit a record $4.1 billion in 2025, including more than $1 billion spent in the city of Richmond itself. That surge supported over 30,000 regional jobs, boosted local and state tax revenues, and was driven heavily by youth and amateur sports. Local leaders say new hotel and tourism investments aim to keep that momentum going.

4. VMFA restores ownership of work by enslaved artist to descendants (nbc12.com) — Richmond's Virginia Museum of Fine Arts has formally restored ownership of an 1840 jug by enslaved artist David Drake to his descendants, then repurchased it under an ethical ownership agreement.
