On Saturday, June 27th and Sunday, June 28th see Ham Radio in action at the Eastern Loudoun Sheriff’s Station, 46620 East Frederick Dr., Sterling. Visitors are welcome and can get on-the-air to make radio contacts! Hours are 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Saturday, June 27 and 9:00 am to 2:00 pm Sunday, June 28th.
Amateur Radio Field Day is a nationwide amateur radio event showcasing the science, skill & emergency preparedness of Amateur Radio. Hosted by Sterling Park Amateur Radio Club, amateur radio operators simulate emergency preparedness by setting up and operating a radio station for 24 hours.
